Custom-made stainless steel fixtures for Ombergs Coffee Roastery
Ombergs Kafferosteri wanted furnishings that were tailored specifically to their business—with the right dimensions, the right functionality, and the right feel for the space and location. Hallins and owner Pär worked together to develop a complete solution in stainless steel, manufactured in Ödeshög. The project took shape about 2.5 years ago. Pär and Christer at Hallins had been in contact previously, so when Pär was looking for a supplier for the interior design, the choice was easy.

It wasn’t a matter of simply choosing products from a catalog. Ombergs Kafferosteri has its own unique character, and the interior design needed to reflect that.
What was produced
Hallin’s custom-made shelves, carts, tables, countertops, and open storage shelves—all made of stainless steel and tailored to Pär’s specifications and preferences. Stainless steel is ideal for businesses with high standards for hygiene and durability, and it lasts over time without requiring much maintenance.
Many elements are already in place, but the collaboration continues. The next step is a stainless-steel planter for the attached greenhouse, where herbs will be grown for the pizzas, as well as bread baskets to be installed behind the cash register.
Local manufacturing, close collaboration
Hallins has been manufacturing stainless steel products since 1920 and is based in Ödeshög. The geographical distance to Ombergs Kafferosteri is short, which has made communication easy. When questions arise during a project, adjustments and clarifications can be made quickly, and the end result reflects the kind of attention to detail that only emerges when a supplier and customer work closely together.
